MoneyLion is looking for a Front End Engineer to join our New York City engineering team to help build the future of financial technology. You will be essential in overseeing the onboarding and dashboard sites, making sure our features are performing well (and look great), browser response times are snappy, and our nodeJS middleware API's. You'll work closely with design, product, and the rest of the engineering team to ensure a holistic experience for our users and maintain a solid foundation to make the ML membership even more valuable.

What You'll Do

  • Support members of the team in delivering exceptional frontend experiences that bring the joy of financial wellness to millions of users
  • Collaborate with highly-driven engineers on exciting new web technologies
  • Contribute to the product roadmap with product owners and designers to create new features related to finances and payments
  • Build well-documented and robust component libraries
  • Mentor other specialists
  • Challenge yourself to keep growing as a senior engineer
  • Contribute to the vision and long-term strategy of the company
  • Find ways to spread learning across the organization (gives internal talks, write on internal blogs, etc)
  • Serve as the go-to person for solving problems in your domain of expertise

    You Will Have Experience With

    • 5+ Years of writing clean, well tested, peer-reviewed code (Javascript)
    • Component-based architecture (We use React)
    • State management systems (We use Mobx)
    • Cross-browser support and debugging
    • Expert level HTML and CSS semantics
    • Responsive design
    • Version control systems (We use git)

    Bonus Points For Experience In

    • Javascript testing frameworks (jest, jasmine, etc…)
