About the Role

The Assistant BSA Compliance Officer is responsible for assisting the BSA Compliance Officer in the administration, monitoring, and ongoing improvements of MoneyLion’s BSA AML program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the managing of the BSA AML Program at an enterprise level
  • Directly manages a small team of Investigators to ensure cases are complete in a timely compliant manner
  • Assists with the implementation of remedial actions required based on audit and internal findings
  • Revise and establish risk-based policies and procedures to govern the transaction monitoring, training, CIP, and OFAC screening process.
  • Provides subject matter expertise in proposed transaction monitoring rule(s) creation/decommission
  • Assists in the implementation of testing programs to determine the adequacy and effectiveness of compliance controls
  • Reviews, facilitates, and develops action plans related to compliance risk assessments
  • Assists Compliance Leadership in fulfilling information requests from third-party partners and facilitate examination/interface with regulators
  • Coordinates with various lines of business teams for information and required data elements required for internal control testing

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years Management experience in AML/BSA/Fraud Compliance
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Comfortable with balancing multiple, competing priorities and changes in scope/direction
  • Eagerness to learn and build within the team
  • Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) preferred
