About the Role

As a Strategic Finance Associate, you will be an integral part of the Finance and Accounting team and report to the Head of Strategic Finance. You will assist in maintaining the financial model of the firm in addition to helping with the preparation of internal/external financial reports, Board of Directors meeting materials, monthly financial analysis materials and ad hoc analyses for the organization. Ultimately, you will help provide upper level management with the information they need to make strategic, operational and tactical decisions. Along with working closely with management across all functions, you will have direct exposure to investors, board members and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining the financial model of the firm and make updates on a regular basis
  • Assist in developing board meeting materials, investor presentations and related supporting materials
  • Assist in preparing presentations and supporting materials for any ongoing due diligence processes
  • Work with business operations, and other key stakeholders to identify KPIs and generate required reporting output
  • Help lead and execute month-end and quarter-end forecasting for each department
  • Drive key insights and increases in productivity by measuring performance and running variance analyses on a periodic basis

About You

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably with a concentration in one of the following disciplines: Finance, Accounting, Economics or Mathematics
  • 2 – 5 years of experience in an investment banking or corporate finance role
  • Strong financial modeling skills
  • Solid understanding of Accounting and Finance principles
  • High degree of expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Superior analytical, written and oral communication skills
  • Fast learner looking for an exciting environment to grow rapidly in
  • Ability to be organized, flexible and adaptable in changing conditions
  • High energy, high ownership of work product and commitment to driving results
  • Knowledge of SQL a plus
