About the Role

The Strategic Finance and Capital Markets team is looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to help deliver valuable insights to improve the financing systems at MoneyLion to keep pace with growth. An ideal candidate will have 1-3+ years of analytical experience and comfortable wrangling large data sets. Successful candidates will have a significant impact on facilitating the growth of MoneyLion and experience the opportunity to inform the overall financing strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain analytics models in SQL for Finance, Capital Markets and Management KPIs
  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards using Python and SQL to help inform financing decisions
  • Wrangle datasets from across the firm to improve financial reporting.
  • Work across multiple teams to gather requirements for analytics needs
  • Implement automated quality assurance tests using Python and SQL to ensure accuracy of financial data.

About You

  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Finance or related field.
  • 0-3+ years of analytical experience, preferably in finance and/or capital markets
  • Experience in SQL, Snowflake a plus.
  • Experience using dbt (data build tool)
  • Familiarity with Github or willingness to learn
  • Experience with Python is a plus
  • Comfortable independently engaging stakeholders to gather and synthesize requirements.
  • Analytical thinker - a passion for metrics and the ability to be detail oriented while focusing on the big picture
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills - comfort working across various levels, including leadership
  • Excellent time management skills - willingness to independently and proactively work with teams across the company
