About the Role

The Senior Manager, Social Media is responsible for helping MoneyLion grow using Social Media. This includes raising brand awareness, and engaging directly with our member communities, furthering our mission of helping hard-working Americans change the way they think about and engage with their money, helping them make confident financial decisions, and achieve short, medium, and long-term goals.

The Senior Manager will work with our marketing team to help execute social media campaigns. This includes but is not limited to new product launches, partner campaigns, seasonal campaigns, and more. Additionally, the role will be responsible for aiding with social media campaign performance tracking and reporting to ensure that social media campaigns are accomplishing overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead overall social media strategy for various products and campaigns
  • Foster an online community on our various social media platforms that bring values to our members
  • Manage social calendars and cross-channel publishing schedules
  • Manage a social media coordinator to do planning, scheduling, and executing social media programs with partners
  • Partner with our Customer Operations & Advocacy teams on proactive community management efforts across our social media channels
  • Work with the content & creative team to create social media assets using design platforms such as Figma and Canva
  • Assist with the production of webinars, podcasts, video content, and other online MoneyLion events
  • Oversee social analytics tool usage and implementation
  • Ownership of all analytics and reporting across every social channel; responsible for identifying trends, outlining key learnings and recommendations

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent required
  • 5+ years of experience running social media, digital or content strategy across multiple platforms, either agency or brand side (fintech experience a strong plus)
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, social audiences and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios with creativity
  • Fluent in content production workflow, especially planning, tracking and management
  • Have experience using a social media management program, such as SproutSocial, HootSuite, etc.
  • Interested in finance and other related topics
  • Strong ability to write clear and engaging messaging that aligns with the company’s values and products
  • Self-motivated and able to execute a project without supervision
  • Experience using project management software, such as Asana, Monday, Trello, etc.
  • Experience with social media marketing reporting tools and dashboards
  • Experience with Google Analytics and the ability to storytell data
  • Experience with boosting posts, hashtag strategies, and audience targeting on social media platforms
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment and great attention to detail
